In November, Adv. Nikhil Dedhia thought of celebrating 25 years of studying at Matru Sanstha Shri Hirji Bhojraj and Sons and Shri Hirji Ghela Savla Vidyalaya. He shared the idea with friend Kunal Savla, who was impressed and offered to help collect information and contact details of teachers. They got some teacher contacts, and started calling them. They were excited about the reunion, motivating both to plan a grand program.
Next, with Kunal and Adv. Nikhil Dedhia shared thoughts with friends, gathering batchmate contact details. They informed and invited batchmates, and friends like Shreyas Satra and Ketan Pasad contributed significantly to the event fund. Other batchmates also contributed willingly, and collected funds at Matunga Boarding.
They finalized the date based on hall availability, completed formalities, and created invitation cards. Batchmates divided the invitation work, visiting teachers, past and present trustees, committee members, and staff with sweet boxes and cards.
Finally, on March 9, 2025 (Sunday), the program began with music and dhol nagara as teachers entered the premises. The function went smoothly, marking a successful reunion.
